Beginner's Group Hikes

Come join us!!  Take a Hike!!
 
When: Sundays-Times vary due to weather. Time is posted on Facebook on Thursdays. 
 
Where: We will meet at the dirt parking lot at the Sheriff's pistol range at the West end of Hark Park.
 
Level: Hills will be gradual, pace will be somewhat slow, rests will be often and as long as needed.
 
Stats: 2 to 5 miles depending on speed of group
 
What to Bring: MANDITORY>Shoes with good tread; water; & weather appropriate clothing. IF YOU HAVE THEM> hiking shoes and hiking poles are helpful.
 
Dogs are allowed if they are well behaved and interact well with other animals and people. Leashes and water are required for your pet.
 
This hike is good for people who just need a short day hike or those who simply need to be kind to their bodies. This hike is a great way to to begin your hiking obsession. Please note that we will only go as fast as the slowest person.

The course offers an in depth look at leadership including different leadership styles, development of various leadership and teaching skills, and understanding the fundamentals of teamwork and group dynamics.
